Al Podere

Villa Al Podere is in the middle of a green oasis and it’s surrounded by the tropical hills and alive groves of the Tuscan territory. It’s just 300 mt far from the centre of the little medieval town of Monte San Savino, a town rich of cultural, artistic and historical treasures. Monte San Savino is situated in the west part of the Valdichiana and it was been carefully laid down on a hill where a lot of sings of the Etruscan civilization has been found during some excavations done at the end of the XIX century.

The castle of guelfi Ubertini in the XI century was the location of the war between Firenze e Arezzo. The town is surrounded by a big wall with four doors.
Very beautiful are the Logge dei Mercanti, the Santa Chiara Church, the Battistero of San Giovanni and the Pieve’s Church. The most important church is the Santuario of Madonna delle Vertighe to which Monte San Savino citizen are gratefull in 1631 the Santuario saved them from the plague.
